Classique Around the World in 80 Days Fountain Pen

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel "Around the World in Eighty Days". The Classique fountain pen in anthracite precious resin draws inspiration from the second leg of the journey, from Bombay to Yokohama. In this adventurous second leg, the protagonists travel on a majestic elephant, which appears in a cartouche on the cap. The clip features a red lacquered ace of diamonds, a symbol of card games and gambling, and the cone is engraved with a pattern inspired by Princess Auda's jewels and card suits. The top of the cap is embossed with the duration of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total. The writing instrument is completed by a handmade 18K gold nib, decorated with a hot air balloon and the dates 20/10 and 14/11: Fogg indeed leaves Bombay on October 20th at 8:00 PM and Yokohama on November 14th at 6:00 PM.
